Bumpers and body kits for Mercedes GLC and GLC Coupé

Bumpers and body kits compatible with the Mercedes GLC and GLC Coupé

At Tuningonline, you’ll find bumpers and body kits compatible with various generations of the Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV and GLC Coupé. The selection includes front bumpers, rear bumpers with diffusers, and complete body kits for a sporty AMG or Panamericana look.

Select the correct GLC generation

Always check your vehicle’s model code and model year before ordering.

Mercedes GLC SUV

• Mercedes GLC SUV X253 from 2015 through 2019
• Mercedes GLC SUV X253 facelift from 2019 through 2022
• Mercedes GLC SUV X254 from 2022 onward

Mercedes GLC Coupé

• Mercedes GLC Coupé C253 from 2016 through 2019
• Mercedes GLC Coupe C253 facelift from 2019 through 2023
• Mercedes GLC Coupe C254 from 2023 onward

Generation years are a guide and may differ from model years. The fitment, facelift version and equipment specified on the product page are decisive.

Bumpers for different generations or facelifts are not automatically interchangeable. The shape, mounting points, lighting, grille, and electronic equipment may differ.

Difference between the GLC SUV and GLC Coupé

The GLC SUV and GLC Coupé have different body codes:

• X253 and X254 for the GLC SUV
• C253 and C254 for the GLC Coupé

A bumper or body kit for the GLC SUV does not automatically fit the GLC Coupé. Therefore, always check that the product description explicitly states the correct body style and model code.

Pre-facelift and facelift

The first-generation GLC received a facelift starting in 2019. Although the model codes X253 and C253 remained the same, bumpers, grilles, lights, and mounting points may differ between the pre-facelift model and the facelift version.

Only choose a bumper or body kit that specifies the correct model year and facelift version.

Standard, AMG Line, and Mercedes-AMG

Check whether your Mercedes GLC is equipped with a Standard exterior, an AMG Line package, or a genuine Mercedes-AMG model.

A bumper designed for the AMG Line is not automatically compatible with a standard model or a GLC 43/GLC 63 AMG. Some body kits are specifically designed to convert a standard model into a sporty AMG look.

Front bumpers, rear bumpers, and complete body kits

A body kit may consist of:

• Front bumper
• Grille or Panamericana-style grille
• Rear bumper
• Diffuser
• Side skirts
• Exhaust tips
• Trim pieces or mounting hardware

The exact contents vary by product. Therefore, always check the complete package contents on the product page. Parts not explicitly listed may not be included.

Check sensors and vehicle options

When choosing a bumper, pay attention to the vehicle’s features, including:

• PDC parking sensors
• Front camera or 360-degree camera
• Distronic or radar sensor
• Headlight washers
• Tow hitch
• Plug-in hybrid model
• Various exhaust systems

The cutouts and mounting points must match your vehicle’s equipment.

Material, paint finish, and installation

Many bumpers and body kits are made from PP or ABS plastic. Trial-fit unpainted parts and check mounting points before preparing them for painting according to the product instructions. Complete the final installation after painting.

Installation must be carried out by a professional mechanic or a specialist body shop.

Which body kit fits my Mercedes GLC?

The correct bumper or body kit is determined by the model code, model year, body style, facelift, and trim level. Also check which sensors, cameras, and other options are present. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering.
