Bumpers and body kits for Mercedes CLS

Bumpers and body kits compatible with the Mercedes CLS

At Tuningonline, you’ll find bumpers and body kits compatible with various generations of the Mercedes-Benz CLS. The selection includes front bumpers, rear bumpers with diffusers, and complete body kits for a sporty AMG or Panamericana look.

Select the correct CLS generation

Always check the model code and model year before ordering:

• Mercedes CLS W219 from 2004 through 2007
• Mercedes CLS W219 facelift from 2008 through 2010
• Mercedes CLS W218 from 2011 through 2014
• Mercedes CLS W218 facelift from 2015 through 2018
• Mercedes CLS C257 from 2018 onward

Bumpers for different generations or facelifts are not interchangeable. The shape, mounting points, lighting, grille, and electronic equipment may differ.

W218, C218, and X218: What’s the Difference?

The second-generation CLS is often referred to as the W218. However, the official body codes may differ:

• C218 for the CLS four-door coupe
• X218 for the CLS Shooting Brake

A bumper designed for the coupe will not automatically fit the Shooting Brake. Therefore, always check the body code and body style listed in the product description.

Standard, AMG Line, and Mercedes-AMG

Check whether your Mercedes CLS is equipped with a standard exterior, the AMG Line package, or a genuine Mercedes-AMG model.

A bumper designed for the AMG Line is not automatically compatible with a standard model or the CLS 53/CLS 63 AMG. Some products, however, are specifically designed to convert a standard model into a sporty AMG-style look.

Front bumpers, rear bumpers, and complete body kits

A body kit may consist of:

• Front bumper
• Grille or Panamericana-style grille
• Rear bumper
• Diffuser
• Exhaust tips
• Trim strips or mounting parts

The exact contents vary by product. Therefore, always check the package contents on the product page. Parts not explicitly listed may not be included.

Check sensors and vehicle options

When choosing a bumper, pay attention to the equipment on your Mercedes CLS, including:

• PDC parking sensors
• Front camera or 360-degree camera
• Distronic or radar sensor
• Headlight washers
• Tow hitch
• Various exhaust systems
• AMG or AMG Line trim

The cutouts and mounting points must match the vehicle’s existing options.

Material, paint finish, and installation

Many bumpers and body kits are made from PP or ABS plastic. Trial-fit unpainted parts and check mounting points before preparing them for painting according to the product instructions. Complete the final installation after painting.

Installation must be carried out by a professional mechanic or a specialist body shop.

Which body kit fits my Mercedes CLS?

The correct bumper or body kit is determined by the model code, model year, body style, facelift, and equipment package. Also check which sensors, cameras, and other options are present. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering.
